We have something big in common...  love of travel and desire to save money while doing it! For years, I yearned to travel more. I found myself continuously postponing trips off until ‘next year’, wrongly thinking that I had to save up to pay the 'going rate'. Ironically, my day job at the time, was to find ways to get better results, in less time, using less money. I have a lean management designation, and I spent my time finding ways to apply lean principles to leverage online travel resources to get deeper savings when booking travel online - and love showing people how to do the same.

We may look for many of the same things when traveling.I yearn the simple pleasures of travel and am an active traveler who runs, hikes, bikes and skis around the world. It's a thrill for me to be in new environments. My favorite escapades include:

  • The Alps and Rocky Mountains;
  • Beaches in South East Asia, the Pacific U.S. and Mediterranean;
  • Castles in Austria and Germany;
  • The excitement of Times Square, Piccadilly Circus and the Vegas Strip; and
  • Finding my way around Tokyo and Venice.

I travel comparably to how I live at home. I like to stay in furnished apartments, buy groceries, and only indulge occasionally. By cutting out the things that aren't important to me, I needn't sacrifice the things that are.

  • There's nothing like... "A fulfilling day and unwinding afterward."
  • About Me... "I like rooftop pools and restaurants that overlook skylines."
  • If You Met Me... You'd see that I'm as interested in your travel stories as much as I enjoy sharing travel tips.

What I'm Not:

  • I don’t always travel, I'm not trying to visit every country in the world. But when I do travel, I spend a fraction of most people pay for comparable trips.
  • I’m not nomadic. I have a fulfilling career and have no intentions on leaving it. I enjoy returning home as much as I do when I depart.
  • I don't tell you where to go, or how to travel. I simply explain what  resource are available  so you can quickly and easily find the best and least expensive options for you.
  • I'm economical, but not cheap.

What I Write About: Practical and easy ways you can quickly and easily find the best and least expensive travel options for you.
